“This is still a great destination. Rooms are clean and spacious and grounds well maintained. The breakfasts were the big let down. Hot foods, eggs, bacon, etc were cold from the servery and coffee often only luke warm. Otherwise a great place to stay.”

“This is quite a difficult review to write. On one hand, we had a small problem with the hot water(which was fixed promptly in the middle of the night) and the catering could be a bit slow at times. On the other hand, most of the staffs here would take every opportunity to make your stay better. Promptly responding to each of our request and providing knowledges about the islands and wildlifes. “If you want to escape this is perfect spot. It is relaxed, unpretentious, friendly and a lovely setting. Evening entertainment will be a puzzle or a swing in your hammock rather than a cabaret.”

“Beautiful location. Very helpful staff and excellent twice daily yoga sessions. If you’re coming here to have an active break it’s probably not the place as there are very limited options. Kayaking & SUP available and one bush trail up the hill. Food was excellent ! Not really the place for a solo traveller. Rooms not cleaned particularly well. Thick dust on top of air con unit and dead bugs around every day in room which came through the rafters. Didn’t bother me but probably would for……

“Spent 3 nights in Qualia during our visit to Great Barrier Reef. The staffs were generally friendly and helpful. Dinner in the long pavilion was awesome but be prepared for its high price. Taste menu is highly recommended. Overall speaking it's definitely a 5 star resort. However, with the money you spent ( at least 1250 USD per night, half board), you will surely expect something more unique and personal. ”
