“This is quite a difficult review to write. On one hand, we had a small problem with the hot water(which was fixed promptly in the middle of the night) and the catering could be a bit slow at times. “Firstly if you just come here for the views then it would be worth it. Reading or relaxing by the pool with the most speciality views of the coast is unlike anywhere else, unspoiled by crowds or boats. As there’s only a maximum of 20 guests plus 4-5 staff the whole resort feels like a private getaway rather than a resort and often we were the only ones in the pool. “Spent 3 nights in Qualia during our visit to Great Barrier Reef. The staffs were generally friendly and helpful. Dinner in the long pavilion was awesome but be prepared for its high price. Taste menu is highly recommended. Overall speaking it's definitely a 5 star resort. However, with the money you spent ( at least 1250 USD per night, half board), you will surely expect something more unique and personal. ”
