“The let down were breakfast where things you come to expect to be available such as cereals, fruit juices, jams, and fruit we not available except as an additional cost. When I collected my bill, I saw that a glass of orange juice at breakfast juice £11.
The other disappointment was the Spa which cost £70 per couple if you use it.
In all hotels I have stayed in, both the above facilities were available to Guests as standard, NEVER as an additional cost.. This is particularly surprising given……

“was unable to sleep in the bed as the room had a major issue with black mould in the bathroom which had become airborne & affected the the entire room the smell was over powering slept in a chair as the bed was cover with the black mould smell & was unable to breath, suffer with chest infections which the spores got on my chest I had to call 111 & was directed to Ipswich hospital for antibiotics, never even stopped for breakfast on day 2 felt to ill on antibiotics for next 5 days, this all……

“A very tired hotel, rooms & spa facilities.
Bedrooms are in desperate need of refurbishment. Our sink & bath didn’t drain. The hand soap dispenser didn’t work.
The spa is exceptionally tired. Mould around the sinks.
Breakfast had a good selection but it had all been sat out for some time.
Overall, a disappointing stay I wouldn’t recommend it. ”
