「Very quiet」

「Just great - unique and cosy - the most comfortable bed ever」

「Shower had a draining issue and in room fan was pretty noisy (hence we couldn't use it). Nonetheless, overall it was a decent stay.」

「Enjoyable stay」

「Spa facilities poorly maintained wood splitting in sauna, no steam room very small pool and small dirty changing facilities. Inadequate gym facilities literally 1 treadmill Old dirty carpet and room smelled old. Tv was inadequate old 1st generation TV. Terrible WiFi signal Reception staff friendly but catering staff not. No food available after 9.30pm no amenities or facilities around to overcome this. Would not recommend staying unless just going to specifically play golf」

「The single room above a quiet pub has the best price you will find in the area, and an interesting history. Nice meals are available downstairs, very convenient. The Sunday lunch (I had the roast chicken with all the trimmings) was especially delicious. The friendly owners shared lots of information about the local area. 「This is the second time we've stayed here. Love the place, beautiful old english manor style, staff are very friendly and helpful. The grounds and surrounding area are beautiful too. We plan to stay here again!」

「Lovely rooms with streaming in the tv Nespresso coffee always a plus. Usual amenities, good food offer & reasonably priced. Highly recommend, lovely area with a local village store & post office which is great」

「Room not big enough for : suitcases What floor space there was was taken by a free standing AC unit the size of a small bar refrigerator which roared like a 747 picking clothes for the day involved houdini like manoeuvres!」

「Very comfortable and easy stay, welcoming owners and outstanding breakfast.」

「Lovely rural location, a couple of miles from a small village with nice restaurants and shops. Close to Bewl Water.」

「Quiet room in the lodge, good tea facilities clean room if a little tired. Shower works well but could do with fixing and the shower door should be at the other end. Towel radiator doesn't seem to work, I hung my towel on the door and the cleaner put it back on the towel rail so it was still damp in the evening. Not enough lighting in the room. Food in the pub was good.」
