We had a lovely stay at the Kontiki. The staff was kind and helpful. We stayed in a superior room which had plenty of space and a nice balcony looking out at a pool. The beach had comfortable chaise and the ocean was a beautiful teal blue. I highly recommend staying here.

The kontiki resort was absolutely amazing it was beautiful and the staff were so welcoming. Check in was very smooth and we were greeted with fresh coconuts, I have zero complaints about the kontiki resort. However my one and only complaint would be to not eat the ceviche at mood beach it got me absolutely sick and I was throwing up all night long every hour. The fish must have been old and I did not appreciate getting served that. Other than that the beaches were beautiful and easily accessible from The Kontiki.

The staff were amazing. Check in was smooth and the sea view suite exceeded my expectations. My only complaint was that my room wasn’t cleaned very well and the room was eye level and right next to the plaza. People eating lunch are watching you while you’re in your private pool. Overall we still enjoyed it. The suites are directly over the beach parties so prepare for the noise. It didn’t bother us. They also provided ear plugs in your room and everything was over by midnight. We will return and request a top floor.

Das Zimmer war schön und das Personal sehr freundlich. Einzige Makel waren dass es entweder zu wenig oder zu viele Handtücher gab und man sich abends nicht mehr am Strand aufhalten durfte. Nicht mal um dort nur zu sitzen oder zu stehen um auf das Wasser etc zu schauen.

We enjoyed 6 days at the Kontiki and are looking forward returning in the fall. The resort is beautiful and the accommodations were exceptional. If you want night life, the Kontiki has it. If you want R&R, you will find it at the Kontiki! The food was wonderful and there was a nice variety. Thank you to the staff for making our stay exactly what we hoped it would be.

Wow is all I can say! I absolutely loved this hotel. I stayed in the Beachfront Suite and was completely obsessed. The room was stunning, and I couldn’t help but lounge in my private pool most days. Beyond the beauty of the space, the service was top-notch. Everyone at the hotel was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive. They were also very responsive to all my requests via WhatsApp, which made everything so easy and convenient. Overall, I highly recommend staying here for a truly relaxing getaway.

The grounds were beautiful and the location was nice. The staff was really nice. So this made my stay overall good. I booked one of their older rooms (the one with all the wood paneling) because the upgraded ones weren't available for my time frame. The room had two twin beds pushed together but they constantly seperated. We didnt get a full blanket. They gave us two twin blankets. So imagine a couple trying to cover up together at night. We asked for a full blanket and never got it. So i assume they dont have any. The floors were dusty and there was an awful smell in the bathroom, possibly their sewage. But the smell came from the drains and it would stink up the room. The shower had no door and was small so having a shower would went up most of the floor in the bathroom which had us asking for multiple towels daily. And they only provide you two when the clean the room. And they didnt change the hand towels daily unless it looked used. Dont expect real washcloths. They staff and location made the stay better. The accommodations itself not so great, if its the older rooms.
