Great Location/Cool Apartment
If you are looking for a place that is in the middle of the action, so to speak, and within walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants, and cool neighborhoods, this is a great choice. The apartment was clean, modern, and wonderfully decorated, and the check-in and check-out process were easy. The owner needs to provide blankets, however, as the windows do not open, which requires guests to run the AC while in the apartment. Our rooms got pretty chilly at night while we were sleeping, and all we had were top sheets to cover us. When we asked for blankets, were told that the apartment came with only 1 and they were unable to give us any others. That seemed a bit odd. Also, the description of the property and amenities on the VRBO website contains some inaccuracies. For example, the apartment has no dishwasher. Second, it has no patio, terrace, or balcony. Finally, it is not close to any beach, so keep that in mind if you are looking for more of a beach front place. All that being said, we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again for at least a few days of our next trip to beautiful Curacao.
