Beautiful house, rooms were warm and comfortable.

Beautiful house, rooms were warm and comfortable. Bathrooms were lovely, my daughter said best shower she’d ever had. Location great, minutes from shops, restaurants and Windermere. We didn’t have the best weather so made use of the pool table, which was a great addition to the property. Would definitely return.

We stayed here over new year in this beautiful house , some examplesof our positives are that it’s a great location 5 min walk to the shops in bowness ,25 min walk into Windermere . The house has been renovated to a high standard with quality fittings and fixtures ,the pool table was great fun we all enjoyed that in the evenings and the beds were extremely comfortable .The small negatives are no guaranteed parking ,some other self contained cottages do provide permits for holiday lets . There are no full size mirrors in the bedrooms and the one television in the house doesn’t appear to have television channels only the Chanel apps through the internet where Live Chanel’s don’t always work well (internet dependant ). The house didn’t have a welcome pack for our weeks stay , the website says we would be left one and it also says a bath is in the main bathroom, when I fact there was no bath in the house at all only showers . With the rental being on the higher budget side we also felt the master bedroom at least ,should also have had a television in the room given the home can accommodate 6 people.However we absolutely loved our stay and will definitely consider booking again some day.

Beautiful house , excellent location, plenty of room ,beds are so comfy, no complaints about the house whatsoever. But I think soundproofing would be ideal ,the neighbours downstairs told us that they could hear us talking and could hear when the washer and dishwasher was on ,or even if we went from the sofa across to the kitchen, also car parking we had to park 2 streets away.Apart from those issues we did enjoy our stay.
