「Very good 」

「The hotel is very good and should be excellent. Unfortunately, it is let down in one area, the restaurant. We had issues at breakfast on both mornings as did others seated around us. I would describe the breakfast as “chaos”. It is a shame because aside from that the hotel is very good. The check in staff were excellent and the spa is more than adequate.」

「The Ettington Park hotel is an extraordinary English Family Castle with a great & long history. Our stay in this hotel was extremely comfortable and relaxed. Despite belated arrival at night, we were all welcomed by their staff with thoughfully arranged dinner & wine & porter services of many bulk luggage. 「The place is very nice and cleaned. The spa should be a little refreshed. The pool beds were broken and steam room very outdated. Aside to this, breakfast was fantastic with good quality food and wide variety from sweet to savory. Also dinner at the Shakespeare restaurant was good.」

They should be serving barista made drinks with breakfast rather than having queues at an instant machine. Some people were ordering from menus, others weren’t. The staff seemed very stressed. Smelt really funny, hair in the bathroom so doubt it had been cleaned at all! Then they charged me 25 pound cleaning fee for the dog. The dog was cleaner than the room to start with! The grounds are extensive and beautiful and the hotel is situated in a very rural area with plenty of interesting places to visit within easy driving distance. The dark night skies make for excellent star gazing!」
