"We had an issue with the shower coming on & not having hot water in the kitchen. There was a valve that was shut off & we could not figure it out so we contacted the property owner & they had someone come out & fix it that day. The property is good for 1 family or people that are very close as there is little privacy in the shower room & it is very close quarters. Also, the stairs going up to the room are very steep, so you should consider that. The area is nice & quiet, 7-11 very close & was...

"This was the last leg of our Japan vacation, traveling with a family of 9. Of all the places we looked at, this was one of the only to offer enough beds, space and privacy for our group. The listing didn’t do justice to this adorable home. There are 3 separate floors. The bottom floor has a room that adjoins another for a family style suite. Great for a family with young children. They have 2 bathrooms- one upstairs and one on the ground level. The neighborhood was quiet, seemed family...

"Thom and his wife were always available and both spoke good English. Rooms are clean, tidy but small (some people leave their bags outside the room). Beds are comfortable and warm. Bathroom and shower facilities are excellent. The hostel is very close to Nippori-Toneri Liner (station NT03) which gives very quick access to the JR Yamanote Line in Tokyo, so getting to and from central Tokyo is a quick commute.Best of all the hostel is inexpensive, so if you are a backpacker on a budget (or even a...

Top Yachiyo Hotel Reviews

Toyoko Inn Narita Airport Honkan

8/10 Good

"We are Envlish speakers and some staff were not conversant with English. Some confusion over which front desk we were to go to - it took a few minutes to figure out that we webt to the wrong lobby."

Tobu Hotel Levant Tokyo

8/10 Good

"The lobby is clean and professional, with severe lack of seating and lounge area. The only seating area is transformed into a cafe with minimum of one menu item order per person. Designated smoking area which was not well controlled so the entire elevator lobby was filled with smell of cigarettes. The hallways were old and in need of updating. Carpet on the 13th floor hallway was very very dirty, which severely lowered our expectations for the room. The rooms were however clean and we had a great view. The smell of cigarette smoke was still heavy in the room, but I think we got used to it after the first night. Not ideal. Location of the hotel and the view from our room was the selling point."

Asakusa Tobu Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"This was our first trip to Japan and staying in the Asakusa area. We could not have asked for a better hotel or location. The staff were incredibly helpful and we enjoyed interacting with them. The room was clean and a decent size for two people. We requested a room with two twin beds. The room came with lots of amenities. I also liked that there is a washer and dryer on site as we had to do laundry. We didn't get the breakfast so I can't comment on that. I would definitely recommend and stay at this hotel again."

APA Hotel Keisei Ueno Ekimae Minami

10/10 Excellent

"Hotel is in a fantastic location with great amenities. The public bath was a lifesaver after long days in hot and humid Tokyo. Staff was very helpful with forwarding our luggage. Rooms are small but manageable for a couple and the under bed storage helps. Beds were comfy. My husband and I would definitely stay here again on our next trip!"
