“It was in the centre of town and parking was very close to the lodge.”

“Met our hosts they were very welcoming when we arrived. Our room was very clean and comfortable, our daughter was travelling with us she had a small room next to us. The next morning we had a full English breakfast also cereal and toast if you wanted it. I must mention the back garden like something from a gardening magazine, with a beautiful large pond and water feature.”

“We had a lovely stay in a charming old coach house. Staff really friendly and helpful, food was really good. The suite we stayed in was adequate, clean and comfortable. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.”

“Good. Very nice ”

“We stayed at the Brace of Pheasants for one night and it was really lovely. The room was big, airy and beautifully furnished. The bed was very comfortable and the linen was lovely. We ate dinner in the pub and it was absolutely delicious. I am coeliac and Matt, the owner, was very knowledgeable when helping me to decide what to have. “Stayed for one night, room clean, but could do with a little updating. Had dinner at the restaurant they were doing a curry night and food was very nice and great portions. Our 5 year old had a kids meal which he thoroughly enjoyed. Had cooked breakfast in the morning also good and great host.”

“Beautiful room with all that I needed for my overnight stay. I dined in the restaurant, and had breakfast, and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend the Belland Crown.”

“The breakfast was superb. It was so nice having a breakfast that was individually cooked and delivered to the table hot. The property is old and the floor in my room was at a slight incline. Not a problem at all but I did describe it as being like the house in the film of The Ladykillers - and that is with total affection as I love that film. Ate in the restaurant on one evening - good food and a good price. Would recommend!”
