“Whilst the decor was a little dated our stay was great. Staff helpful and friendly.
You can't get breakfast at The Maynard but their sister hotel on the corner was just minutes away, and you got a discount for being guests at The Maynard.
Staff/Service excellent.
The only thing i would say is my friend was unable to take a bath or shower as there was not a slip mat to assist in their safety.”

“Exceptionally well decorated and beautiful home to explore the local area. Very welcoming on reception and everything you could need.
Only minor gripe was the upstairs shower that was either boiling hot or freezing cold with no in between but sort that and this place is perfect. ”

“I think the hotel is either new or newly run as they seem to be finding their feet. Check-in was 3pm to 4pm and when I called to say I might be around 6:30, I was told "it's only hour and a half from Manchester" and "there might not be anyone here after 5pm". It felt a bit abrupt in all honesty but when I arrived around 5:30 (Friday school holiday traffic), they were pleasant enough. Breakfast starts at 10:30 to 11:30 which is very late and checkout is 10am. Weird timings, hence my theory they……
