「Welcoming, friendly staff, clean and well maintained room and property, super comfy bed. Breakfast and dinner offered a variety of fresh cooked meals which were really good. The pub has its own car park too. Quiet at night considering the location in the middle of the village, great to have a window that opened in my bedroom with a decent blackout blind. Would definitely recommend staying here to anyone. A true hidden gem of local hospitality.」

「Everything about the Hotel was excellent. Lovely, friendly, very helpful staff, compty bed and room, clean and with coffee/tea/biscuits provided. Breakfast was first class, trout with poached eggs were perfect, Trish went above and beyond to help us with my disabled husband, she even collected our cases from our room and a staff member took and loaded them into our car. Would certainly stay here again.」

「We really enjoyed our stay even though it was just 1 night. The pub has a lovely cosy feel with real fires and candles on tables in the evening. 「Had a great stay, room 1 was fantastic. We enjoyed the comfortable bed and a sofa was a bonus. Great bath, one thing to note may be the addition of a shower curtain, we managed to soak the floor every time we used it. Water and orange juice was a nice touch and filtered coffee was tasty.
