“Great location and views . Spacious room. (3 adults) short stay so didn’t explore more than the town centre and beach. Dated hotel but clean. Staff helpful. Parking wasn’t available but nearby paid/free (after 4pm) nearby. Restaurant/bar onsite.”

“The bed was very comfortable had a nice sea view and also a portable fan. Cannot comment on breakfast or dinner as eat out. Plus side there was a lift”

“Rear facing bedroom basic but clean. Bed comfortable. Pillows could be better, way too soft for my liking Food although very good, is also very expensive. Lack of affordable snacks, light Breakfast fantastic. Location, spa and views fantastic”

“The staff were very helpful and let me store my pole vault pole, which is over 4m long, in the basement free of charge for the duration of my stay, which was very helpful. The hotel is only a short walk from Fistral Beach and convenient for the town centre. My single room was a good size with large window overlooking the sea.”

“I had a fantastic stay! The host Chris was incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel at home from the very beginning. The homemade breakfast was absolutely delicious and prepared with so much care – definitely one of the highlights of my stay. The location is beautiful, with stunning views of the Atlantic, making it the perfect place to relax. I would happily come back and highly recommend this lovely B&B!”

“There are two Plume of Feathers in Cornwall. If you search for the one in Portscatho on Google this one is likely to show up and I made the mistake in booking it. When I contacted them once I had realised my error they said it was not up to them to refund but Expedia - who I contacted. They were helpful and sympathetic - but they said it was actually at the discretion of the host who they contacted on my behalf but they declined my request. I again contacted the PoF to ask them to reconsider……
