「Great location and a well-maintained property. One thing to know before you arrive: there is no cell phone service in the area. Management recommends printing your check-in instructions ahead of time, and I’d strongly suggest doing so—at the very least, make sure you have the Wi-Fi password handy. Overall, a great stay, and I would definitely stay here again.」

「This is such a cute little place to stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. The jacuzzi was a nice addition. The decor is not cheap and cheesy but appropriate for a cabin theme room. It is connected to the Living Treasures zoo, which I decided not to visit, but all in all, nice getaway for a couple. Highly recommend.」

「Very comfortable place but one of the two beds were a bit worn from use such that there were divets. They also ran out of keurig regular coffee pods, but there was 24/7 coffee in the lobby so it was OK. Breakfast was above average. Loved the friendly staff, plentiful parking, very clean, and very quiet. Definitely would stay again.」

「After booking, Donna called me to confirm my stay and ask my arrival time. I appreciated it. It was a cold day with a temperature dropping to below 30 degrees. Taking bath in the big bathtub kept me warm all night even without heater. The heater was noisy when operating. Thus, it was good I took a warm bath and shut off the heater.」

「Clean and well maintained. Central heat and AC not reliable. Room temperature varies. Use your ear plugs because of noisey highway. Trees behind the lodge need cutting to prevent roof noise. Microwave and mid-sized refrigerator in room. Cable TV worked great. The bed was comfortable. No extras except soap and towels provided. Low price lodging, not luxury. 」

「Quiet, clean sheets and room. Bathroom ceiling was peeling, room worn like a college town hotel but staff nice. Needed to stop and sleep on our trip and this hotel worked for the night. Typical hotel breakfast you find across the country -bacon, sausage patty, scrambled eggs, toast and waffles.」

「This is a very cool historic Inn with character and amenities. The staff are helpful and friendly. The amenities and common spaces make the place - historic and full of character. The two pools, outdoor hot tub, veranda with massive view, and lobby with fireplace ooze charm. We had a nice breakfast in the restaurant. The rooms are modest and not the “show” here - but you wouldn’t want to sit in your room anyway. We’ll be back!」
