“I arrived in the evening and the lighting on the property was subpar along with the signage. I struggled to find the building in the dark. Also, there are no signs for what rooms are on what floor. Very confusing.”

“There was not anything unique about the property. It was an older hotel which we will stay at on occasion. The problem came when we entered our room and had to kill three roaches within the first five minutes. It was very late, so we did not call the front desk. Hotels were in short supply because of the time of year(Keeneland.) We did not bother to take advantage of the complimentary breakfast...if there are roaches in the room, there are most definitely roaches in the kitchen.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Bourbon Manor B&B. Todd, one of the owners, was very friendly and helpful with our trip, and he was willing to accommodate special requests, including helping arrange a birthday cake for my husband.
The rooms were charming and had a historic feel, and even though the buildings are old, they were well maintained and comfortable. The property itself was really pretty, and breakfast was delicious. It also had a homey, welcoming atmosphere and was a nice place to meet……

“I’m will start with the smell in the lobby/dining area/lounge area. It is absolutely horrific. I had a migraine the entire four days we were there. The second major issue is the lighting in the rooms, it is not existent. I need to do some work and couldn’t and trying to put in make in the bathroom was very frustrating. The one thing I did enjoy is food at the restaurant is great and some of the restaurant staff is outstanding.”
