5/5 - Excellent
Very quiet, definitely need to hire a car to get about and see the sights

Estrela da Calheta might not have many top sights, but Casa das Mudas Arts Center and 25 Fontes and Cascada da Risco are two attractions nearby that you can check out.

The ocean was visible .we particularly enjoyed the beach cafe. My only criticism would be lack of privacy due to transclucent glass in shower and toilet plus the the toilet for was a sliding glass panel which was very noisy during the night

The apartment has everything needed. Rosa was wonderful at letting us in and showing us everything. We spent 5 nights and were able to explore much of the island. Loved it!

When we visited access to the marina was limited and unfortunately all the shops and restaurants were closed. Fortunately the restaurants at the hotel where we were staying at were great. As we were out for most of the days we had lunch out.
Recommend a hire car. Parking for the beach is limited.
use google Maps, it's much more reliable than the navigation of the rental car walk the 25 fontes walk and start with the 800m tunnel, it's fun and very Special
