"The rooms are nice though be aware that this is an unstaffed hotel. Fine for anyone fairly self reliant in Japan but I suppose anyone who would not be comfortable at an unstaffed hotel knows who you they are."

"This is a very well equipped place to stay. Not a luxury accommodation but if you are looking for a cosy accommodation with the most welcoming hosts pick this place. The view is amazing from the apartments and the owners will do their best to accommodate you even if there are language barriers. You can purchase snorkeling and scuba diving trips on the spot as well. "We loved our time at Cago Guest House. My husband and I stayed for two nights and wish we stayed longer. Taketomi is a beautiful, quiet island and Cago is the perfect place to stay and enjoy it. The owners, a husband and wife, are lovely. We opted for the dinner both nights (breakfast was included) and all the food was fantastic. Highly recommend this place!"
