From the pristine and almost untouched beach right next to the hotel, to the events, helpful staff and nice facilities makes this a wonderful stay. "This resort is about 30min drive from wither Ohara or Uehara port. Suggest you to rent a car to get to the resort and also explore the island, there are only 4 buses a day and very few taxi. The resort is quite well maintained with good Japanese style breakfast. They also offer Japanese set dinner, in case you dont want to drive 30 minutes for your evening meal. "I wish I could give this stay more than five stars! The owner and his wife went out of their way to make sure my every need was taken care of. Be aware there are two ferries from Ishigaki, and only one has a shuttle to the hotel. If you’re going to rent a car book it early, but the island is very doable without a car as long as you go with the flow. The hotel is close to the river ferry which takes you to waterfall hike.
