“Breakfast was good, and the staff were extremely helpful. The hotel does look very dated though, and the carpets were very worn especially noticeable on the stairs. The room was clean and the hotel is in good location”

“Ideal one night stopover for ferry from Oban. On the pier with patking at the railway station. Room is small but had everything we needed. Shops and restaurants nearby.”

“When 1st arrived very tired after 7 hour journey ,key lock box would not open with code,had to phone then leave message,no answer back so left message on web site eventually call back after 25 minutes had to go round to car park to get spare key out of another lock box 45 minutes to get into room Room 4 is small. Needs a better table for tea and coffee area. Bed linen is needing renewed as looking rather grey and tired.Toilet bowl and inside seat needs cleaned better. Bathroom door sticks and……

“We arrived in the middle of a storm Amy related power cut which had affected the whole region. The owners could not be more helpful and pulled out all the stops to get us an evening meal. A really nice place to stay. We took the scenic way there along the loch and the quick way to get back to the A82 - the Corran vehicle ferry runs every half an hour (or quicker) and takes 5 minutes to cross the loch. ”

“Apartments are great size for the 5 of us. It had everything we needed as we stayed in and cooked a roast dinner on Christmas Day after our hike up the lost valley. Nice and quiet even tho it’s on a main room and the views were stunning to wake upto. Only minor was a dirty towel left in the wardrobe in the single room. Still plenty of towel to use. I would definitely go back and stay again.”

“Room number 5 was at the back of the property near the main road. It did become quieter as the night went on. However, there was a security light that was triggered every 2 mins, whihc made sleeping difficult as just thin blinds on the windows. I messaged the owner the next morning to see if we could change rooms. Jonny the owner was there at 5pm when we returned. Very reaponsive to the situation and changed us to the other part of the hotel. Overall nice place and close to town centre. Kitchen……
