“We checked in for a two-night stay in Lincolnville on our way back down to NYC from Bar Harbor, and it was the ultimate place to catch our breath. While we were recovering from Acadia, the kids instantly bypassed their screens to become full-time vinyl DJs on the in-room record player, when they weren't busy exploring the gorgeous grounds. The owner, Alice, has completely nailed that elusive "welcoming-but-supremely-laid-back" coastal vibe. The motel is conveniently situated just two minutes……

“The owners Ginny & Lori were very hospitable and accommodating. They made sure I was able to get whatever I needed. They served a delicious home-cooked breakfast each morning in their tastefully decorated dining room. The entire property is very warm and inviting and filled with rich history. I will be going back again!!”

“Rented a cabin for the long weekend. NOT what we expected based on the online pics of the cabins. Did not have the "Maine cabin" vibe at all - more like 1980s RV interior design. Vertical blinds on sliding doors were missing some sections so no real privacy. Bed was very uncomfortable. Hot water lasted about 3 mins, so showering or washing dishes was tricky - to say the least. Not so friendly RV "neighbors" who felt it ok to have a projected light show, and be loud and obnoxious past 10 pm. We……

“The cottage was super ‘comphy’ and perfect for the two of us and had everything that we needed! The owner was fantastic and told us about all the things that we should do while there! Our pup was very welcomed and I knew he was safe if we needed to leave him for dinner. It wasn’t far from Camden/ Rockland/Rockport, which is where we spent a lot of time when not at the cottage. We will definitely suggest it to others and be staying with them again!!”

“We just spent 3 nights here over 4th of July weekend. Overall, the property was nice, clean, and comfortable; however, it was advertised as sleeping 4 people when it only sleeps 2. There is only one bedroom with a double bed and that’s it. There’s a couch in the living room, but it’s NOT a sleeper. We booked this place as there were 4 of us (myself and my boyfriend as well as my parents). We ended up having to get my parents a room at a nearby hotel as there was no place for them to sleep……
