“ Very nice lodge. Good restaurant. I love it!”

“Curtains were ripped, cobwebs up in corners of main room and when we first entered the room, it smelled strongly of smoke. We would love to have been able to swim but the pool was closed for maintenance. Employees were friendly and helpful. Some family members that booked a room had to go elsewhere because there was no elevator. Two were elderly and could not do stairs and no more first floor rooms were available. ”

“Staff was great and although there was an issue with someone writing a violation for parking at the mall, Manager said she’ll take care of it and not to worry about it.”

“A fantastic place to stay in Cougar! Extremely clean and very impressed with how up to date they were on everything. Room was perfect for what we needed. Host was very responsive at getting us checked in. The waitress/cook/bar tender deserves a raise! She was also training a new employee and doing it all on top of that. Full service gift shop literally has everything. Looking forward to coming back. ”

“The property was clean, comfortable, and very well appointed, on a nice wooded hillside with a river view. We appreciated the kind welcome from our hosts and made good use of the wood fired stove and laundry. Our kids appreciated having some games to play, and we liked exploring the national forest nearby.”

“This small space has everything you need. Perfect for two people. Very clean and generously supplied with everything you could need. Great bed!!! Recommend and would return. ”
