“Exceeded expectations. The house was rented for several family members to attend a wedding and reception nearby. I searched for a home closest to the venue. Roomy, clean, and comfortable. I definitely would rent again to explore the local amenities, beach, lake, etc.”

“Chris and Resa run a wonderful B&B! The house itself is beautiful, and if you like seeing original architectural details of historic buildings, this is the place for you. Breakfast was delicious, and it was hard to pick what our favorite meal was. After a day of shopping on Main Street, it was nice to come back to the house for a charcuterie plate and cookies (both different every day!) and wine. My favorite touch was a homemade brownie waiting for us when we checked into our room - delicious!”

“We wanted to try some place new for a romantic weekend and Farmers Guest House was perfect! Our room, The Charlotte, was warm and comfortable for relaxation. The breakfast that was made fresh every morning was by far the best we have ever had. The little extras like wine time with cheese and crackers made the weekend even better. We are already planning on going back. If I could have given this a 10 star review, I would have! You will not regret spending time at the Farmers Guest House!!”

“Wonderful location and the outside decks are very nice. We stayed two nights, while we didn't eat dinner either night in the restaurant, we did get the most wonderful limoncello cake the first night. However, the breakfast on both mornings was nothing to be excited about. Coffee was out on the first day and the staff didn't care when told, French toast was cold, and the scones almost raw; bacon was the only redeeming item. The second morning was no better, pancakes were cold and scones still……

“Saw this place on hotel.com and thought I’d give it a whirl. It sits in a beautiful small town called Belleview.IA with lots of parks and access to the river and tons of shops and diners just a short walk away. Although the staff is off site they are super friendly, honest and pretty knowledgeable about the area which is great for first time visitors. The property was super clean and offers an amazing view of the Mississippi River and the lock and damn. My only bummer was the property is not in……

“Overall, I would recommend Longhollow Suite 1321. A few things future guests should know: 1) This studio is located inside a Wyndham property called WorldMark, but it is managed/rented by Rosebud Rentals. If you have an issue with the studio while staying there, you have to call Rosebud Rentals for assistance, not the front desk of the property. 2) The valley view from the window/balcony is lovely. 3) The bed was not great. It sounded and felt like we were sleeping on a semi-deflated air……
