「Great staff and breakfast.」

「We were initially taken aback by the steep, and narrow hill on which the B&B is situated. Parking was limited, so we ended up in a car park in town. After dragging our luggage up to the residence, we were out of breath. Inside, more steps up to the room. And, oh, what a room. Not large, but lovingly kitted out with Victoria-era style fittings. The pillows are a tad thick and firm. Hard to on the neck. We slept nine hours! Breakfast is a to-go bag in a tiny in-Rom fridge. Bananas, granola bars,...

「What an amazing find…a beautifully maintained hotel in the heart of one Scotland’s most beautiful places. The rooms are a good size but the attraction is that they are exquisitely decorated and well-equipped. There are no staff on the premises but the rooms are serviced each day and the amazing variety of breakfast ingredients (including locally-sourced smoked salmon and cheeses as well as granola, fresh rolls, croissants and preserves, juice etc.)」

「The room was better than we expected for the price. Very comfortable bed, nice bathroom and shower and amazing view from the window. The only slight negatives were that the room wasn't as warm as we would have liked (the radiator didn't get very hot and the heat wasn't uniform across the radiator so possibly needing bled?) and the carpet could have been vacuumed more thoroughly. But we had a great, though short, stay and would definitely recommend Dalrigh House to others.」

「Another pleasing stay at the Park Lodge - staff are always friendly and accommodating, room is clean and warm. Particularly like the addition of a coffee machine in the room with various pods to choose from.」

「Old hotel and not really clean. Hair on linen. The worst thing is no wifi connection at all because they are fixing it for days. The hotel should inform guests who want to book the hotel in advance rather than saying sorry after we arrived. Really bad experience as we are cheated.」
