The accommodation is conveniently situated close to the heart of town and once we had parked our car it was easy to walk to the restaurants and shops. The room was impeccably appointed and spotlessly clean. Our hosts were extremely hospitable and personally welcomed us upon our arrival. “It was our first time in the castle itself, usually we stay in the lower hotel but the rates were comparable to the least expensive so I booked one night in the “castle”. The only complaint we really had was the heater in the room was controlled from a thermostat that was down the hall and was for the entire building so our room was either cold or way too hot even with the windows open in late April. That being said it was only when you were getting in or out of the shower and getting ready for……
