「Nice laid back motel refashioned into a full-service/amenity hotel. Homage to artist/conservationist Guy Harvey. Easy access to the beach. Our March stay: Clean room with small balcony (bathroom could use some refurbishment). Staff were absolutely lovely. Plenty of beach towels. Great little outdoor bar at the pool with live music off and on. The restaurant/bar at the front had very good food: breakfast, lunch, dinner with covered outdoor seating away from the lively pool activity. Tasty coffee...

「I did not check in because of the following : Room was in terrible condition . Sort of looked like a dungeon in a bad movie. Not safe and not clean. In short unusable in my view so we did not stay. Also parking lot in poor condition ( some flooding) 」

「The hotel is only 1 year old therefore it was immaculate and beautiful. What was MOST impressive was the front desk clerk, Emily. She was a literal ray of sunshine indoors. It has been so long since I've come across the kind of customer service she provided. You would think she is the owner. I loved Emily! 」

「Was it a water beetle or a roach, not sure but it was big and it came out of the sheets when i stripped the bed. I would not stay there again. Aside from that the staff were friendly.」

「You get what you pay for—plus a little more. This was an inexpensive, conveniently located hotel that suited our needs perfectly. The property is older but clean, and check-in was quick. The room was clean and everything worked, though the dresser drawers were a bit stubborn and the shower pressure was very light. Be aware there’s a nearby train—expect a 7am whistle wake-up.
