Two suggestions, getting rid of dead leaves on the patio would cut down on pesky mosquitoes and the notebook in the condo could use updating. “Thierry and Jessica were phenomenal hosts. This B&B is a perfect spot in the Shenandoah Valley. My wife and I enjoyed the amenities and the hospitality. Very easy walk to downtown Lexington which has numerous shops and dining options, plus the history of two great collegiate institutions and the legendary Stonewall Jackson. We loved every minute here and are excited to return again in the future. Merci!”

“It's not really the owner's fault at all but the place is built on a rather treacherous bit of mountainside in the Shenandoah. The website doesn't really give much warning about this and there isn't any sort of guardrails. There is a hell of a 'pucker factor' getting to and from the location as it's just one lane. But once you get there- My GOSH! So beautiful-- so inviting.. and so, so so sooo cozy! Makes it all worthwhile!! As I said before, unless a millionaire wants to donate $$$$$$……

“The Valley Extended Suites is a clean, modern hotel that provides good value. Whether for a few days or just overnight, it has what is needed for an enjoyable stay. The only issue we had was with the thermostat on the HVAC system. While the system worked adequately, we had to turn the desired temperature way down (62 degrees) before the room was comfortable enough to sleep. Once we figured that out, it worked fine, but when we set it at the temp we wanted (68/69 degrees), the room was still……

“Checking in had a little hiccup due to the pin pad. WiFi was nonexistent and was a little disappointing in the evening when we returned and weren’t able to communicate. Good location and the cabin room was a pleasant stay. Nice area to walk the creek. Would recommend the WiFi fix and stocked firewood would be nice. ”

“This was a very unique hotel in that it used to be a coffee shop and has now been converted to a small hotel. The upstairs apartment is divine. Loved the furnishings and decor. And the downstairs with the bar/coffee area is so fun. It is a wonderful concept and you will definitely enjoy your stay here. Bed and pillows are comfy, self check in is a breeze, and you’ll feel like a store owner during your stay. It’s absolutely the definition of Extraordinary!”
