"It was ok for an overnight stay, reception staff very pleasant, helpful and friendly, the property could do with a bit of a facelift and modernising, but overall it was good."

"The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was exceptional, from chatting with the bar staff to a chef coming out of the kitchen to explain how a dish I enjoyed was made. Food quality was fantastic, great portion sizes, well presented and tasty. Badger Beer made it even better."

"No aircon and windows opening onto a busy main road are not a good start. Tables in restaurant very sticky but food was surprisingly good. Not good enough for £120.00 per night. Half that and I wouldn't complain."
