“Enjoyable stay at what is perhaps best described as a fantastic restaurant with rooms. The restaurant overlooks the water and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. However our room was landside, with only a view of Irsha Street. Although small, the room and facilities were excellent. Fresh milk in the fridge is always much appreciated by us tea drinkers.”

“We had an absolutely fantastic stay! From the moment we arrived, Stephen gave us a warm, incredibly friendly welcome and made us feel right at home immediately.
We stayed in Room 3, which was immaculately clean and thoughtfully equipped with absolutely everything we could possibly need. The kitchen area was a brilliant touch, and we absolutely loved the generously sized bathroom and superb shower. Thanks to the wonderfully peaceful and quiet location, we enjoyed a brilliant, uninterrupted……

“We had a brilliant stay here just after Christmas for 6 nights. The cottage was spotless, really comfortable, and had everything we needed—it felt like a proper home away from home.
The kids absolutely loved feeding the farm animals every morning (so did we!) it was such a fun way to start the day and definitely made the stay extra special.
Carolyn and Carl were fantastic hosts—so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble.
We’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for a family……

“We had a wonderful stay at The Salt House and couldn’t have asked for a better place to relax and unwind. The property was beautifully presented, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property was surprisingly bigger than we expected too! It is located opposite a pub however we were pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was! If we ever visited Ilfracombe again we would stay here!”
