“Don’t be fooled by the pretty pictures. The lobby is dated and tired. At peak check-in hours, there is a long line and only one reception staff. Breakfast is included in the steep price but you may as well skip it unless you enjoy unkempt tables, overcrowding and terrible coffee from a machine (and this is Italy). ”

“Hotel Flaminia was ideally located on the lakeside next to all the main attractions in Sirmione. Only two minutes walk to the ferry and castello and five to Terme di Sirmione (unmissable in my opinion). Hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly and the buffet breakfast was excellent. We would highly recommend to people of all ages. ”

“Positive: Room is clean and reasonable size, breakfast has good selection, staff speaks good english. Negative: Lack of adaptors, definitely need cars to live in this place because it is far away from everywhere, late check in 3:00pm.”
