Lobby was very disorganized, luggage everywhere and the check-in area was not clean, the staff pulled slippers, soap and toothbrush from a box stacked just behind them at check-in and gave them to us in a plastic bag to take to our room, this was very strange and was not what we expected for a hotel classified as 4 stars. "Mid range hotel located in the Hutongs. Good value restaurant for dinner and complimentary breakfast more than adequate. Staff are friendly and speak varying levels of English so be prepared to use a translation app. I had booked a non smoking room but it was clear when I arrived that a previous guest had been smoking in it. The hotel did provide an air purifier and after 24hrs the situation was much improved. That said there were people smoking in the corridor on the floor I was staying on. Aside from that the room was comfortable with all the usual amenities."
