“Wonderful stay at The Loutrel. From our welcoming cocktail to the friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast and delightful rooftop terrace, I can’t think of anyplace I’d rather stay in Charleston! Location was also great with proximity to the waterfront, outdoor market, plentiful restaurants and great shopping areas!”

“We booked this hotel off of its rating and accolades shown in their site. I do feel, however, that it is VERY overpriced. We were disappointed in this upon arriving to Charleston and seeing what other options we had at much better nightly rates (in fact half the cost) based on when we originally booked the room. I understand it was a busy weekend for the town, but nevertheless we felt it didn't justify the price we paid. I will say, the service was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and……

Our room had no decent lighting, and was minuscule. So dark and not a chair to sit on unless you went to the lobby area. Bathroom was spacious ”
