“This is our 2nd trip to Exeter for a University visit. On both occasions we stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott and both tumes we have been impressed by the friendy, helpful staff and how clean and well maintained the hotel is kept. At breakfast there is a fantastic choice of cereal, pastries, fruit. cold meats and a cooked breakfast. ”

“Breakfast was plentiful and very nice however the evening meal was awful. Nice hotel and spa facilities and lots of parking but the restaurant lets the whole place down.”

“The staff at this hotel are lovely but the hotel is badly in need need of refurbishment. Food and drink are reasonably priced. Good choice for breakfast. ”

“The rooms are lovely & clean. Was in room 47 very large king size room with bath tub bathroom. Slept very well, despite noise at 6:30ish am from noisy neighbours. The are the staff are friendly and fantastic can’t do enough to help you. Downsides they do not serve breakfasts (which I think would be amazing if they did) and the hotel used to have a pool but they no longer has it as was filled in and turned into a gym. Easy access to Barry town and Barry island. Car park is small and on a slope……

“Perfect for a quick stop over. Super comfy bed. Room v clean. Thank you for allocating me a quiet room too. Breakfast lovely. The only thing to improve is to ensure milk doesnt run out at the corridor drinks station (no kettle in the room). Otherwise excllent. ”

“It's a very friendly hotel. The room was clean & cozy. The restaurant also very good and I didn't need to find a place to eat. Excellent for a night or two and explore the nearby area.”
