“Very pleasant stay ,nice rooms and view ,good parking and excellent food”

“Excellent comfortable stay. Lovely room very well equipped all good amenities. Wonderful freshly made breakfast was so good. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Breakfast was great, would have been better if toast was served with the scambled eggs and smoked salmon. Parking was very safe and secure. The garden room we stayed in was cozy and well equipped, with a great little patio area.”

“Tucked away in beautiful location, 50m from Tarr steps. Lovely, helpful staff and gorgeous food (breakfast &evening meal). Lovely spacious room and amenities. One small suggestion for improvement would be nicer pillows”

“we had a very enjoyable stay and look forward to returning again.”

“Lovely place to stay”

“Great couple of days away with the hounds x”

“We were only there one night and didn’t eat there in the evening but breakfast was excellent. Room was spacious with excellent open plan bathroom facilities. Pleasant walk into Sidmouth ( approx 3.5 ) miles round trip Ticked all the boxes for what we needed. Would stay again”

“The room was fantastic but the check in experience was very poor. We had a printout from an email which said to use the Gileston Manor Courtyard with cream gates as the entrance, upon arrival at 7:30PM (more than 3 hours before check in ended) the gates were locked and the number provided was going straight to voicemail. Texts and voicemail was left with no response. After waiting for 20 minutes with the car hazards on, on a main road, we decided to look around and parked in the Manor Estate……

“Fabulous property, has everything you could possibly need.”

“Clean and quiet. Most of the staff are warm and helpful. Food quality is good. Lounges are nice and comfortable. Will stay there again for sure.”
