“The room was clean but a bit dated and the shower cubicle was much to small, the staff were brilliant and the food was the best we have had in a hotel and the portions were very big. Aylsham itself is a lovely village.”

“Lovely staff, great food, no complaints at all. Suggestion, maybe change the radio channel in the breakfast room, it’s a bit drab. Put some music on in the bar, such a nice bar but very quiet without some background music. Maybe a few barstools too to break up the seating. Overall really enjoyed my few nights away!”

“Robbie super helpful and friendly ( Batman/ waiter everywhere) Great location on The Rebellion Way cycle , cool room in the heat and very good food - beyond normal pub food We left very early and they made a breakfast to go for us, which was really appreciated Really enjoyable stay”

“Excellent hotel! Excellent staff. I arrived late due to being held up at work so called ahead, the chap on the phone was kind enough to wait 1hr30 past the check-in deadline for me to get there, thank you! Had only booked the single room for 1 night, while the room could be classed as a little snug it was nothing less than very comfortable. The room is very well presented and incredibly clean, bed was super comfy and bathroom was spotless and of a decent size. Paid extra for the Full English……

“I booked a room but all night there were banging doors outside my room as the main corridor door was right next to my room. I was also near the hotel entrance where there was a lot of banging. So not a great night sleep!”

“Convenient access if traveling to and from nearby airports. Rooms are basic, but absolutely no airflow, even with a fan, and very difficult to sleep when the room is so hot. In general, this is feedback for many hotels that don’t have air-conditioning and it will be an health and safetyissue that is going to need to be addressed sooner than later.”

“The property it self was nice once you worked out the maze of entrances and where to find the Keys. Whilst there is parking it can be tight to navigate. upon arrival I was accosted by what I assume was a fellow guests looking for help in checking in, as it self check in. I felt a little swarmed and uncomfortable. The room itself was nice and spacious, clean and functional. Very Warm however due to the hot weather and a lack of aircon. Later in the evening the Fire Alarm went of apparently……
