The room was clean, the staff were lovely and very helpful, having to book the pool was a bit annoying as sometimes you sang yo go on the spur of the moment but mostly a good experience

The young man that checked us in was so helpful. He was able to direct us to the bar for ice, got a couple of washcloths (not sure how ladies wash their face in Scotland) and even some extra pillows. Great pool/hot tub as well.

Gym, pool, and steam room in particular were great! Only comment is the parking was £3 a night and had to be sorted at a parking meter at the start of the stay. I’m not sure why they don’t just increase the price of the rooms by a few quid instead as it cheapened the feeling of the place when you check in. We had to check out a day early to avoid travelling home in the storm and staff said there was nothing they could do in terms of a discount or a voucher off for a future stay. Even a small gesture like getting our breakfast taken off our bill might have softened the blow but appreciate from the hotels point of view it’s not their problem.
