"We had a highly disappointing and unacceptable experience during our stay at this hotel. We checked out the very next day, and demanded a full refund of our 2 nights stay.
The room was unclean, with visible dust and mold throughout. The carpet was worn out. Additionally, the bathroom ceiling leaked overnight, causing significant flooding on the floor. It was horrific. This left us in an extremely uncomfortabl and unsafe situation with electrical heating rail exposed in water.
Unfortunately, the night manager was unhelpful and unresponsive. They were unable to provide a replacement room or even basic assistance, such as a mop to clean and dry the flooded floor. He provided us with a few towels to keep on the floor. Infact ironically he admitted that of the 116 rooms in the hotel we were the unlucky ones.
This has been one of the most unsatisfactory hotel experiences we have ever encountered. We have formally requested a full refund for our stay.
Expedia is expected to conduct thorough due diligence on the properties it lists to ensure they meet acceptable standards for its customers."
