  • The Olde Springhouse is our cozy cottage just one block off of Main street and a few more from the Virginia Creeper Trail-Head. This gem is at the epicenter of shops, restaurants and nightlife! Park upon arrival and enjoy all our quaint town offers within walking distance- The Barter Theatre, The Virginia Creeper Trail, The Tavern, Jack's 128 Pecan, Dwayne’s, Rain, The Girl and The Raven, Wolf Hills Coffee, the Brewery, and much, much more- and it was literally built over a spring!

This is an EXCELLENT place to stay when visiting Abingdon. It is easy walking or driving to much of Abingdon (Creeper Trail .3 miles away). The furnishing was inviting and eclectic, the bedrooms small and adequate, and the living room was large enough for six or seven people to sit and visit comfortably. We will stay here again the next time to come to Abingdon.

This cottage was perfect for our stay in Abingdon. It is a beautiful little cottage and the ideal size for our 4-person group. It is walkable to anything in downtown so we just left our car at the house and did not worry about parking. It was very easy to communicate with the owner and they are very responsive. I am looking forward to staying here again!

The property was beautiful, inside and out, and we couldn't have asked for a better location, just a block off Main Street.The furniture and beds were all very comfortable. And thats saying a lot as we all have bad backs!Would definitely come back if it were closer to home.

This home was perfectly appointed and well-located. The host has personal touches throughout -shabby chic decor and we felt immersed into this quaint little town. We absolutely loved staying at this lovely cottage! Sitting on the front porch rockers in the evening watching the lightning bugs was so peaceful. The yard and house were perfect for a weekend away and the location could not have been better! It was walking distance to restaurants, shops and the Creeper Trail. We would definitely book to stay again on our next trip!

It was our first trip to Abingdon and we loved it. The cottage was so comfy and close to everything. The cottage was neat, clean and had everything we needed and we will stay there again on our next visit. Such a lovely cottage in an excellent location! The country vibe melds with the updated kitchen, with nice additions like coffee and tea, a washer and dryer, bike rack, and puffy queen bed. We'll be back in warmer weather to enjoy the porches and creek-side chairs!
