“My husband and I couldn't have picked a better spot to celebrate our 20th anniversary! Viento del Rio is a beautiful, well-equipped casita in a gorgeous, peaceful setting — and Tami and Jeff (and of course, Lola!) were exceptional hosts. We enjoyed hiking at Ghost Ranch and at Plaza Blanca, which is just down the road. The town of Abiquiu is full of wonderful little gems and everyone was so lovely. If you like day trips, the casita is about an hour's drive from Santa Fe and just over an hour……

“This was my second stay at Paradise Pond, and was even more enjoyable than the first. It's in a quiet setting with plenty of woodland to explore and lots of bird and wildlife activity on the pond, but just a quick hop to Santa Fe, and with easy access to Taos and Abiquiu/Ghost Ranch. The casita is spacious, well-equipped, and spotlessly clean. Tom is the perfect host, very friendly and always happy to make travel suggestions. There's also a nice library of maps, brochures, and books on the area……

“Because I had never visited Los Alamos when the booking said the place was located in Downtown I had envisioned a more traditional urban city center and not such a small village. But that's on me. As for the Canyon Inn itself it was centrally located, clean and relatively quiet. I also wasn't quite expecting the room to be a extra room in someone's residence but it was spacious and more comfortable than I thought it would be. The owners were friendly but not intrusive. Probably worth……
