「The apartment was comfortable, clean, tidy and convenient for access to the racecourse or for access to York by car. It’s about a half hour walk to the city centre. There's a local bakery and convenience store nearby and we found on street parking for one car. In the first floor apartment, There’s a small kitchen with a full cooker, microwave, kettle, fridge and washer dryer. The dining table only seats four so you may need to also sit on a bed. The beds are comfortable with bedding and towels...

The breakfast of cereal/croissants was a nice touch. We also found a lovely pub about 10 minutes drive away with amazing food - there were several to choose from. The owner was friendly and helpful. Suitable for a couple or a small family - there is one bedroom with a double bed, and the other with twin beds.」
