"Returning to this property for the third time in as many years felt almost like coming home! The accommodations are spacious and well-appointed, the waterfront setting is lovely, and the porch swing is simply wonderful. The cottage is centrally located to all that Cape Cod has to offer, and Jo and Mike are gracious hosts. Hope to see them again next year!"

"A wonderful place to stay in Chatham. Literally a five minute drive to the pier fish market, Main Street and the beach. Check in was easy and the staff person was very helpful in pointing out places to eat and places to go both in Chatham and nearby Orleans. The room was very clean, spacious and the turn down service was excellent. They have a great pool and hot tub. They also have a koi fish pond that is beautiful. We especially enjoyed the outdoor tables in the courtyards of each area. We were able to bring back lobster rolls from the fish market and enjoy a nice al fresco dinner. We then ran into the cleaning who offered to take our garbage from us, which was so helpful as it prevented us from stinking up the room. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone staying n Chatham. Well worth it!"

"You know how sometimes you go away to the beach and settle into a rental house that is filled with charm, hominess, TLC, and the warmth of the family? That's NOT this house. This house is a well-appointed, clean, well-run investment property. It is an affordable, friction-free, smooth experience, but it is not a charming, lively, delightful house that helps you make memories.I'll break down the pros and cons.It was clean and spacious. It had plenty of towels, and it came with sheets and blankets. The wall A/C units worked. The door locks were easy and worked. It was about a mile from a TERRIFIC beach (Ryder's), and about the same from a terrific pond. The TVs were large and worked. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and cutlery. When we needed extra sheets because a child got sick, the service dropped them off within a couple hours. The caretaker, Brian, was very responsive by text. The house delivered all it promised.Here's what the house did not have: Any personal touches. Almost no board games, only one or two books, very little art on the walls. No bikes or boogie boards in the garage. There was dish soap, but not laundry detergent (the kind of thing that a family might leave behind as a nice touch). No throw blankets, no rugs.Basically, you know how AirBnB's started off as people's homes that they were renting out for a night or two, then became, over time, anonymous investments? That's what this was. In a sense, perfect; in another sense, very lacking."

"Very nice and spacious house on a quiet cul-de-sac. The house was clean upon arrival and check-in was a breeze. The cabinets were bare other than glassware, dishes and silverware so you'll have to bring your own cooking spices, cooking spray, etc... Couldn't find any placemats either so we got some at the store. We had a great week going back and forth to the beach. We all loved the outdoor shower and the grill worked really well for cooking. It's in a great location too, so getting everywhere we wanted to go was quick and easy. Very nice stay altogether. Would definitely rent this place again if it's available when we go."

"The host was fantastic - very interactive and, most importantly, exceptionally responsive to any question or request. The house overall was great and well-maintained. The surrounding neighborhood was a bit surprising with some homes in need of care and one which appeared to be abandoned, none of which the host can control but nonetheless was a first-impression eye-opener.The front yard upon arrival was considerably overgrown and appeared to match other homes nearby with respect to care and upkeep, but it is important to note that upon notifying the host, it was cut within a few hours. Some minor suggestions that would elevate the experience from great to outstanding: we were a party of 5 and there was only 1 hair dryer in the house which presented sharing challenges - a bring your own dryer message or adding at least one more for future groups would be very helpful. Similarly, a few extra bath towels beyond 1 per person would be a helpful touch. Finally, we considered, looked at, and refrained from using the hot tub because it appeared to be dirty and in need of cleaning. We would definitely consider working with this host again - he was exceptional in his communication and interactions."
