“We spent three lovely days at the villa up in the mountains. It was full of rustic charm and very peaceful (the only sounds in the evening were goats and birds!) The building has lots of history and has a pool and an en site convenience store which is really useful. The breakfast was incredible! It was served on the balcony of our room. I’d highly recommend that you have it when you stay! The owner is also very helpful and communicative. I had several questions throughout the stay and always……

“Die Restaurants sind gut und abwechslungsreich. Am Strand sind leider einige Steine was es etwas unangenehm macht ins Meer zu gehen (am besten Gummi-Schuhe mitnehmen). Es war schon etwas geschäftig, da muss man sich drauf einstellen, liegen war aber immer vorhanden, beim Essen war es manchmal recht voll und entsprechend laut.”

You do need to check into the actual hotel (which this is not, this is the villas), which is like 5-10 mins away by car, and I'll say this now that the hotel does have a restaurant. It was nice that when requested, they quickly delivered an iron and ironing board since it wasn't already inside our villa. The whole property was really clean and well maintained. “Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Personal war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Wir konnten die Altstadt bequem zu Fuß erreichen. Das Frühstück war lecker und der Garten in dem wir es serviert bekommen haben, war sehr schön. Wir sind im Feierabendverkehr angereist und mussten zunächst etwas suchen, konnten dann aber auch einen Parkplatz in einer Querstraße finden. ”

“Great stay for a small group! Staff was great and communicative, there was clear instruction on how to get to and from the Chania airport using buses or taxi. Fantastic location to old town Chania! Great beach access as well. Would definitely recommend again. Room can get a little stuffy, but AC fan works perfect”

“Very central and well located. Staff are veryy nice. Will come here again. The only negative point which didnt get them a 10/10 is the bathroom ventilation. The sound of it even when closing all doors is unbearable. I had to unplug electricity to make it go off. It is so loud that it is impossible to sleep. I advise changing it.
