Cities Of Gold Casino
4/10 Poor
"Upon checking in I wasn’t given the requested first floor room. I was told that priority went to the construction people that were staying there. So as I entered my 2nd floor room I noticed that the previous guests to-go food box and trash was still in the trash can and not removed when the room was serviced.
Paint in the bathroom was peeling and the picture in the bathroom was falling apart. The heater / AC unit was really loud thus making me wake up in the middle of the night because of the noise. I was afraid to drink the bottles of water in the room because I wasn’t sure if I’d be charged or not. The bed appeared to be old and wasn’t comfortable & the pillows were small and not cushiony. They went flat pretty quick.
There’s a desk but no chair. The nightstand, though it was some kind of stone was dirty & broken. There was some nasty residue from someone’s drink that was never cleaned properly. I stayed 3 nights and my room was never serviced during my entire stay. The bathtub lacked any kind of anti-slip devices and I almost fell in the shower a couple of times.
This place really needs some tlc & remodeling. The walls are a bit thin too. I could hear the guest in the next room loudly “sawing logs” (snoring)."

Inn of the Governors
10/10 Excellent
"This hotel is such a treat to stay at. If at all possible, get a room with a kiva fireplace. The location cannot be beat, right in the heart of Old Santa Fe and within walking distance of everything you need. The staff is attentive and professional, I even got a free upgrade unexpectedly for staying here in the past. This hotel has a nicer, smaller feel than the chain corporate hotels that you will love. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel."

El Sendero Inn, an Ascend Collection Hotel
6/10 Okay
"Fine for what it is location is great room felt old while they tried to make some upgrades. Ok for one night but would not stay again in the future for a longer stay"

The Sage Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Very underated property! I think it's off putting they call it a Hotel... It is A MOTEL. I would absolutely come here again! Couple of negatives but not a big deal. NO MICROWAVE IN ROOM! Also the fencing around entire property needs replaced and cleaned but again not a reason to not stay! Also off putting a $15 per night "fee" lisiting one reason is hot breakfast...well all do it free... however it's also to provide free shuttles by private driver in a super nice shuttle bus van they own! That alone was worth it!
Huge POSITIVES!!
Very nice rooms, toiletries are same as when we stay in lux hotels! Small thing but appreciated! Also something even some of the lux hotels we stay in don't have...DINE IN ROOM SERVICE!! They have onsite hotel level restaurant and bar with huge bar menu!
Don't hesitate to stay here!"

Hotel Santa Fe
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful little resort, centrally located in Santa Fe. Authentic flare with modern amenities."

Coyote South
8/10 Good
"Very basic accommodations. Clean room, with K-cup coffee maker, but no refrigerator. Choice of two kinds of breakfast burritos for the hot breakfast. Not far from restaurants like Chili’s and Plaza Cafe Southside. Overall a good value. "

Drury Plaza Hotel in Santa Fe
10/10 Excellent
"Nice comfortable room. Spacious and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice dining area, as well as bar. "

Las Palomas
10/10 Excellent
"Las Palomas turned out to be such a quaint and welcoming place. I’ll admit I was a little nervous at first because of some of the negative reviews, but this stay proved it’s truly a hidden gem. It’s not the Ritz‑Carlton, and sure, a few updates wouldn’t hurt—but I honestly think part of its charm comes from the character it already has. Plus, major renovations would only drive up the price, and the value here is already fantastic.
The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. And the complimentary made‑to‑order breakfast was outstanding—some of the best we’ve had in Santa Fe. The burrito is a must‑try.
Overall, we’re so glad we chose to stay here and had an amazing time. Would definitely return and happily recommend it to others."

Hotel Chimayo de Santa Fe
10/10 Excellent
"Given how close it is to the Plaza, we found this to be a quiet hotel. It was cozy and comfortable with all the amenities we needed. Requesting a fridge and microwave helped as we had nice sitting area inside and out for snacks and light breakfast. We loved that area artists’ works were everywhere!"
