"Just back from three night stay in this lovely property. Ruth was the perfect host and communication was perfect. Attention to detail was excellent in terms of directions, including leaving us a map to show us the road to take given the main string road was closed for repairs. The property itself is beautiful, clean and very homely. Everything you need to make it feel like home from home and a perfect base for exploring the beautiful Isle of Arran. A real bargain price wise too. We’ll defo be back. Thanks Ruth "

Corsewall Lighthouse Hotel

Corsewall Lighthouse Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Fantastic wild location - remote, but not too far from Stranraer. Some great local walks, and sunsets. The hotel is quiet, small and unique. Our dog was very welcome, and got extra treats for breakfast. The food was amazing - surprising, given the remote location. Room was clean and spacious, and the staff were all very friendly. There's an EV charger just next to the hotel, which was a welcome bonus. Definitely recommended."

"Older decently kept property. Stairs were an issue for my disabled husband but we managed. Never could get the tv to work. Lots of animal, I suspect cat waste in the gravel leading to the entrance."

"Clare was amazing from the start. The check in process was very smooth. We had a lot of space, the fittings were of high quality but the sofa and carpet could do with being replaced. I would definitely stay here again as it was very close to the beach, which is so lovely in this part of the world, but next time we would definitely fly to Scotland!"

"As I have visited Barbreck several times over the years and is my perfect place to stay when I visit. That does not mean it has to be perfect but on the whole it has everything I need. I left a note for the person who looks after the house about one or two issues that that were noted by us.I was delighted with the new parking space which much eased entry and exit.I thought the detailed information supplied was very helpful. And thank you for the food and cleaning materials in cupboards and fridge/freezer. I don't always remember to take small item like salt and herbs .....I hope we left the house in an acceptable state. I felt guilty about not doing some hoovering but we ran out of time on leaving this year!Apart from the weather we had a lovely stay."
