“The water in the shower was way too hot and the temperature could not be adjusted. Thankfully there was another shower. When waking up on our last day we discovered mouse droppings on the stove and countertop. ”

“Our family truly enjoyed our stay. The home was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with thoughtful touches such as firewood on hand and reliable Wi-Fi that kept our teenagers happy. We especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and direct access to the woods, which made our visit even more memorable.The location was convenient for exploring downtown, and while the grocery store was on the pricier side, the advance notice was helpful. “We loved the house it had literally everything we needed! The house was clean and very comfortable! ”

“There was an annoying cat that would not go away that stayed on the deck and sat on the deck furniture most of the day. The picture on the website showed two sets of single bunkbeds. When we got there it was one double bunk bed. The ceiling light was too close to the ladder and as adults in our 60s were unable to climb up and get around that light to use the upper bed. We had intended to sleep on the bottoms of the two single bunks. Please update your picture on the website with accurate……

“The cottage was very nice and a good place to use as a base of operations. Parking was a little wonky but worked fine and the neighbors were very friendly when we asked to confirm we were ok. The cleanup instructions were just a bit over the top. We've never been asked to strip beds before. Overall, it was a nice place to stay while we visited this beautiful area!”

“Very nice place. Has everything you need to make you feel at home. The kitchen has everything, we forgot to bring coffee, Yvonne provided coffee. Bedrooms were comfortable with extra bedding and both bedrooms had smart tv’s.Bathroom was nice and big. Shower was hot with good pressure. Washing machine in the bathroom if you need it. Living room was cozy, had a large tv, we watched the USA men and women win GOLD! Our trip was for snowmobiling. The driveway was a little tight for our truck,……

“Perfect location for exploring Pictured Rocks. The cottage is very cozy--we loved sitting around the gas stove in the evenings. We enjoyed the convenience of easy access to restaurants, coffee shop, and the market in walking distance. ”

“Our family enjoyed our stay. It was like going to grandpa’s cabin. Kitchen was small but adequate. Two things: the fridge seemed to be on its last leg and didn’t keep some of our frozen foods frozen & the GFI power plug above the counter did not work. ”
