“Well located property. Close proximity to downtown amenities and Pictured Rocks is the main benefit. Property reminds me of AmericInn hotels but not as clean or as well maintained.”

“One of the oldest hotels on the island. Super great view from our room, and the wraparound porch. Close to bike rentals. Great connection with Shepler’s Ferry’s for luggage shuffling, arrival & departure times. Peter and Clare and their staff were most excellent. The “Breakfast” half of the B&B was so filling we really didn’t need a lunch. The king “Bed” of the B&B is showing its age, and no refrigerator or microwave was unhandy. But always slept well and got my steps in going up and down for……

“The place was nice, the check in was easy. The only thing I didnt like was the fact that there was a weird smell upon entering the cabin and also one of the complimentary bottles of soap seemed opened and re used. Lastly there was like 3 flies just chillin inside on the large living area window. Other than that I do appreciate the cabins, they're cute and cozy I do wish they let people smoke out on the porch chairs provided. The rooms where clean so ill give them that for sure.”

“Not your ordinary bed-and-breakfast, this place was exceptional! It is true that they stopped serving breakfast quite some time ago, but the kitchen is fully equipped for anything that you may want to make, so make sure that you bring the bacon and eggs along. The dining and kitchen areas are shared with one other guest room, so if you are looking for a private getaway, this may not be a good fit for you, but I enjoyed the beautiful living space and my interactions with the hosts, which reside……
