“I did not like the steep steps up and down to the pool. No ideal for anyone with disabilities. There are also a lot of steps going into the building. But what they lacked in that department, they made up for in service I was treated like royalty from all of the staff, cleaning staff were more than obliging to me, the bar/breakfast staff have perfected the balance between being pleasant and giving u space. What I liked the most was watching the relationships the staff have with each other,……

“Friendly staff, everything is clean, good pool, delicious breakfasts, everything is at a good level.”

“浴缸花灑頭岀水太少，不足以淋浴。廁所出口有滲水情況嚴重。職員有發現狀況，但沒有即時按排換房服務。反而留言給我避免使用企缸。叫客人接受滲漏情況直至離開酒店。完全沒有考慮到客人需要及服務質素極差劣。需要經過投訴後才按排最後一晚才更換房間。”

“ Accommodation was clean and reasonably well equipped. Bed was really comfortable and towels were of a good standard, however the sofa in the room was very uncomfortable and we were unable to use it. All staff were friendly.”

“Welcome drinks gives a good first impression. Although no air conditioning, hotel offers fan for ventilation and that's okay for night temperture of below 20 degrees. Location close to city centre with lots of pubs and restaurants around.”

“Soundproof isn’t quiet good, especially on Saturday night when there were too many drunk ladies, they came back super late, very loud, also they tried to open my door, many times, 3am to 4am, I didn’t sleep at all.”

“Friendly staff and clean, spacious room. Not easy to walk there from the rail station. However, One can get there easily through a steel bridge (which was not shown in the map) linking it to the Freeman’s Quoy Centre at the Peninsula, near the Premier Inn Durham. Good and reasonably priced dinner.”

The pillows at this hotel are extremely soft, and even though we were provided with four pillows for the two of us, they were so soft that we couldn't sleep well. Eventually, we turned off the air conditioning, but it still felt very cold (the temperature that night was 7……

“The central train station is just nearby. It is very convenient to travel to other city. Overall, it is clean and polite.”
