“Loft with steep stairs to king bed, single bed and bathroom below. Comfortable though warm in April, we could not figure out how to turn on air conditioning. Excellent breakfast with hot and cold selections. Parking 5 min walk away, 25E per day. Very close to Cours Mirabeau and Musee Granet. Quiet room.”

“This is a fully automated , self-service unstaffed investment property (with Hotels.com should make clear and rate on a different scale than full-service hotels). The construction is brand new, so it was impeccably clean, though sterile and lacking human-centered design elements (extra outlet by bed, place to hang a face towel, little things). There is nothing human or personal about it, except the "concierge" who texts you back when you contact the establishment. (She was nice.) I did not……
