“They told us up front there was no A/C, but we figured, 70 and raining would be fine. Well was 79 and sunny, and with only one tiny window that only opened 2 inches, the place was like sweatbox. The upside, is that the staff were wonderful! The restaurant next door has a great pub, and excellent fish and chips!”

The rooms were large, comfortable, with all the needed amenities. The restaurant has wonderful food. Our dinners were the best we had on our trip to Scotland. The breakfasts were bountiful and tasty. Would definitely stay here our next visit to Stirling. ”

“Great location, ideal for visiting both the castle and the town centre. Our room had a brand new refurbished bathroom that was fantastic, with a huge bath tub and separate shower but the room itself definitely needed new furniture as all the surfaces were worn and it could all do with a lick of paint. The bed was VERY hard (but I prefer them this way) and we had one window without curtains so it got bright early. We had a 'corner' room and it was very quiet throughout the night. With a few small……
