“Stay in Voss at the end of a ski trip. Very convenient hotel. Right next to bus stop one side and train station the other side and a short walk down to the lake. Lovely evening meal, drinks and greak breakfast too. Comfortable rooms, good shower, airy and spacious lobby areas and a sunny balcony area too. Hard to fault in any regard. 10/10 from all 5 of us.”

“Vi brugte en nat her. Der var for så vidt fint. Hotellet kunne godt bruge en opdatering og modanisering. Vi havde badekar på værelset, her tog det rigtig lang tid inden vandet blev varmt, og da vi forsøgte at sætte proppen i passede den ikke så vandet løb ud. Puderne var dårlige og sengen knirkede noget. Men overall okay. Vi syntes det var dyrt for det vi fik”

“We stayed for two nights, before the ski-ing season had begun. There were building works outside on the acces road side but our bedroom faced away from them and looked up the slopes. Our bedroom was very comfortable and warm. Breakfasts were good with a good choice of options and the dinners were excellent. Hotel staff were friendly, approachable and efficient when it came to dealing with our queries. I am not a skier so I cannot comment on what a ski stay might be like, but it was a good base……

“It is an historic hotel with a spectacular view to the lake. The room is large and cosy. It is just 3 minutes' walk to Voss station, therefore it is very convenient for us to catch the train to Bergen. The breakfast is impressive as we can enjo the lake view while having the tasty food. It may be a little bit difficult to find the reception as the door is small and open to the railway.”

“Hôtel vieillissant, les ascenseurs ne fonctionnaient pas lors de notre séjour, chambre vieillissante, les lits grincent. Cependant la chambre avec vue que nous avions réservée etait bien bien équipée avec petit salon et baignoire. La vue est superbe. Hôtel calme car peu rempli, pratique avec son parking et bien situé proche du lac et du centre accessible à pied. Le monsieur à la réception était très gentil et serviable, il n'a pas hésité à proposer son aide pour les bagages en l'absence……

“The cabin is beautiful with a beautiful view... HOWEVER... Be warned that Google maps does not take you to the location. We were lucky enough that even though it was late when we got there, a gentleman in the house near where the gps took us was able to somewhat lead us in the right direction. We attempted to call the owners multiple times but no one ever answered and never returned our calls at any point during the stay. After about an hour of searching the area (bringing us to get there at……

“Era presentato come monolocale con angolo cottura, quindi, non essendoci ristoranti o locali in cui poter mangiare nei dintorni, ci siamo procurati del cibo da cucinare. Appena accesa la piastra a induzione, si è sentito un botto, come un rumore di contatore che salta. Da quel momento non abbiamo più avuto a disposizione né la piastra, né il frigo che evidentemente erano collegati. Ce la siamo cavata fortunatamente con il nostro fornello da campeggio, senza il quale non avremmo potuto mangiare.……

“Bei Ankunft in der Ferienwohnung mussten wir feststellen, daß beinahe alle Schubladen in der Kommode und die großen Schubladen in der Küche abgeschlossen waren. Der Wandschrank war zur Hälfte voll mit Bettwäsche, obwohl man Bettwäsche und Handtücher selbst mitbringen musste. Das finde ich nicht gastfreundlich! Wir waren mehrere Wochen unterwegs und hatten viel Gepäck und hätten das gerne ausgepackt. Außerdem verstehen wir nicht, daß man die Wohnung selbst Putzen und spätestens um 10 Uhr……
