“This is one of my favorite places to go! The grounds are so beautiful any season. The staff is so professional, extremely friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, we learned that the company sold to another company and only gave the staff 2 weeks notice that they would no longer be able to stay open. The restaurant was closed which was dissapointing as the food was so fabulous. I hope they reopen with the same feel as Desolation Hotel.”

“We had a fabulous stay at this property! Our room was clean, spacious and worked well for 5 adults (could accommodate more). The host provided a lot of helpful details prior to our visit. The kitchen was well stocked & you can walk accross the street to Target for groceries. You absolutely can not beat this location for gondola access. We rented skis on-site and a short walk up a set of stairs and you are at the gondola. Lots of shops and restaurants very close by. The heated pool and 2 hot tubs……
