“This was my first time trying a place like this and I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and quiet the building was, how friendly the owner was, and how convenient it was to just have a calm spacious area to hang out after being tired from a days activities and driving. This was a great place to stay with kids and its proximity to amazing burritos and fish tacos was an added bonus. My kids loved the crab theme and the space as a whole.”

“We had trouble with the tv as there were no instructions. The grill for the cold air intake for the furnace had come undone and was hanging down . It was like that upon our arrival . It was not a problem though. Other than that it was a fantastic stay. The location was amazing! We enjoyed our stay very much and loved the light in the loft and the view.”

The kitchenette was perfect for us since we went to our favorite restaurants in the area. Our 2 dogs loved the grassy area in front of home. Perfect rusty retreat!”

“Many pros to our stay…Large picture windows in living and dining rms with lovely ocean view. The well stocked kitchen was appreciated. Enough chairs for everyone around the dining room table. Large shower in front bathroom very nice. Loved the hot tub on the back deck. Cons…fireplace is the main sort of heat but just a very few sticks of kindling to start fire. First morning my husband had to chop more kindling in overgrown backyard. Hauled Lg pieces of wood from this area. A short time later he……

“The house was adorable and perfect for our relaxed little family of four and fur kids. We are easy going and really don’t need too much. With that said it was a rainy weekend and the walk from our vehicle to the house was extremely wet, socks, shoes, bottom of pants soaked. A nice little stepping stone walkway would be awesome. But unlike the rest of my family I packed rain boots and didn’t have an issue. The area was serene the hike to the beach definitely a crows mile, we didn’t ever end up……

“Sandy Clove Cottage was so much more than just a vacation place!!! Above all the things to do in town, as well as the games and books to read at the cottage, it was truly a place to be able to slow down, breathe, relax, remember what's important in life. We have been vacationing in Fort Bragg for over 10 years. This is the 1st time we have 100% enjoyed staying in Fort Bragg. All because of Sandy Clove Cottage.
